New page

Beginners's Guide
In this guide you will learn basics for the early part of the game to avoid getting into a debt spiral and starting thing off smoothly and slowly.

Basics:
Generator runs on generator fuel.

Machines needs a power input to run.

Both generator and power input must be on for your setup to work.

Getting started :
Your plot
Depending on the map you chose, you may need to go to the plot of map that as been already bought for you. Some map like Forest Hills & Scandinavia do not require plots to exploit.

Once on your plot, you can begin mining. However, the most likely thing you will see is Dirt and Trees, which does not sell for much.

Leveling up & Passive Income
If you go into the shop menu, you will quickly see that many things require a certain level to be available. The easiest way to level up is by mining with a pickaxe.

Coincidentaly, to get a passive source of income, you will need to mine! You need to find an ore deposit first, a coal one precisely. Just dig into the darker area on your plot and will likely find one.

You need to expose the coal, not mine it all, so you can place an oil pump on it.

"Coal deposits acts as crude oil wells"

To setup your first crude oil extraction rig you will need :

Oil Pump x1, Power Generator 1600kW x1, Power Input 1x Speed x1, Liquid Tank x1, Cable x1

Now you can work on the next step and ocassionaly sell your crude oil as you do so.

Prepping your mine:
As mentionned earlier, around you is a bunch of dirt, and below you also, this is called Top soil. You will need to remove that top soil to expose pay dirt, containing precious gold, silicone, diamond and ruby ore.

Before setting up your first washer, it is recommended to start with the removal of the top soil, as you will quickly notice the landscape quickly changing. If possible establish the center point of your mine away from mountainsides and in rather flat space. The removal of the top soil is most efficient using bulldozer<nowiki/>s.

If you have followed the route of Crude oil exploitation, income will be replenished as you spend time on that top soil, which is time consuming but necessary to remove.

The starter washing rig
Once you established your pit and the pay dirt is exposed in a large enough area, you can setup your wash plant which is composed of :

Sluice box x1, water pump x1, big hopper x1, storage x1.

It is recommended to build your washing rig close to your if not inside the pit in a zone you do not wish to expand toward and close to where you will expand.

Once you drop your first bucket into the hopper and your setup is on, you will need to smelt the ore.

You can attain this by placing an Ore Smelter and manually placing the ore into it, however it does require alot of time to smelt. You can avoid the waiting by setting up a smeltry.

Smelting
Once you have the basics and the Ore Smelter don't follow your production, you can set a faster smeltry, that can be linked to the previously discussed washer or separatly, if you lack space.

Bar Roller x1, Smelter x1.

This will significantly improve the rate at which you can smelt gold.
