Version 0.16/0.17 was a combined release delivering two major updates at once:

• 0.16 – Open Pit Equipment
• 0.17 – Leveling & Progression

This update introduced larger mining machinery, a new economy and progression system, a new HUD, and the game's first proper in-world map. It marked one of the largest leaps in Out of Ore during 2023.
