Update 0.31 is one of the largest vehicle-focused updates to date, adding a full lineup of new heavy machinery (including rope shovels and long-boom excavators), the new Skill Tree progression system, the in-game Periodic Table of Elements, and a wide range of fixes and improvements across almost every system.
This update also expands building interactions, refines conveyor and pipeline behavior, improves lighting and physics, revises fuel consumption, adds new UI/UX elements, and resolves longstanding issues with saves, quests, and player/company management.

Notes
- Some connection-tolerance improvements may require re-powering existing conveyor lines.
- Lighting and dirt-handling improvements touch many machines and may visually change existing saves.
