When Out of Ore crashes, the game usually creates crash files that help us understand what went wrong.

This page explains how to collect and send those files.

Step 1: Locate the crash files

Crash files are usually stored here:

%localappdata%\OutOfOre\Saved\Crashes

Each crash is stored in its own folder, named something like:

UE4CC-Windows-XXXXXXXXXXXX

If multiple folders exist, the most recent one is usually the relevant crash.

Step 2: Zip the crash folder

Before uploading, the crash folder should be compressed into a ZIP file.

  1. Right-click the crash folder
  2. Select Send to → Compressed (zipped) folder
  3. A .zip file will be created in the same location

Please include the entire crash folder in the ZIP file. Do not remove or rename individual files.

Step 3: Upload the crash report

Upload the ZIP file to our bug tracker: https://bug.outofore.com/

If possible, include a short description with:

  • What you were doing when the crash happened
  • Whether the crash happened more than once
  • Any steps that might reproduce the crash

Even if the crash only happened once, the crash files are still very useful.

Important notes

  • Do not download or replace crash files manually
  • Do not modify files inside the crash folder
  • If you are unsure which crash folder to send, include the most recent one
